Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Englewood, Colorado. This role involves providing critical patient care in a busy emergency department environment. The RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in accordance with hospital policies and standards, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Position Description: TRAVEL - RN - Emergency Room (ER) 7PM to 7AM
• Unit Information: Emergency Room with 18 beds, staffed by 3-5 team members, including RNs and support staff
• Location: 14200 E Arapahoe Rd, Englewood, CO 80112
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, minimum 1-year current acute care ER RN experience in a hospital setting, BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a large hospital setting, prior Meditech experience
• Typical Procedures or Responsibilities: IV insertions, EKGs, Foley catheter placement, splints, wound care including infiltration, medication administration, patient assessments
• Personality Fit: Seasoned, teamwork-oriented individuals with a positive attitude are ideal, as the unit fosters a collaborative and efficient work environment
• Additional Information: The unit has transitioned from a freestanding emergency department to a hospital-based ED with expanded resources such as respiratory therapy, laboratory services, radiology including CT, MRI, ultrasound, and on-site support staff, creating an advanced, resource-rich environment for nursing staff
