Senior Software Engineer Jobs

Senior Software EngineerWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with deep knowledge of C++ and C#, and strong expertise in the design and architecture of software for complex test equipment systems. This role requires developing software in Windows 10/11 environments and directly integrating it with hardware lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers. The ideal candidate will also have hands-on experience with National Instruments TestStand and related NI hardware, supporting mission-critical aerospace and defense programs.Responsibilities:Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of test equipment software solutionsDevelop software in C++ and C# for Windows 10/11 platformsPerform hands-on integration of software with electronic test and measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, NI hardware)Utilize National Instruments TestStand for automated test execution and validationParticipate in lab-based testing and troubleshooting of integrated systemsParticipate in design reviews, provide technical documentation, and maintain coding standardsEnsure software meets export/import compliance requirementsQualifications:Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)7+ years of professional software engineering experienceDeep knowledge of C++ and C# development for Windows 10/11 platformsStrong experience in software design and architectureProven hands-on experience integrating software with hardware lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers)Active Secret security clearanceAerospace & Defense industry experiencePreferred: Hands-on experience with National Instruments TestStand and NI hardwareFamiliarity with automated test environments and measurement systemsKnowledge of export/import compliance requirements in software development
