PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Compensation: Pay per visit & training reimbursement, $46 - $49 per routine visit, processed bi‑weekly. Shift Type: PRN, Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM (flexible), no weekends or holidays. Benefits: Professional Growth Opportunities Mileage Reimbursement Whole Person Approach Supportive & Positive Culture Summary The Physical Therapist Assistant (“PTA”) provides physical therapy services to patients under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. The PTA works as a collaborative member of a patient’s care team, working across the internal interdisciplinary care team, physicians, and other stakeholders in our patient’s care. Primary Responsibilities Assist the physical therapist in following physical therapy care plans. Prepare clinical and progress notes and help develop the treatment plan (revising as necessary). Perform PT services in line with the care plan and physician orders. Consult with the physical therapist regarding changes in treatment. Instruct patients and caregivers on in‑home programs and activities of daily living. Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences to contribute to patient updates, discharge planning, etc. Advise and consult with agency personnel and patient family/caregivers.
