Maintenance Technician

Let’s keep this straight forward If you’re looking for a role where you just follow a checklist and call it a day, this isn’t it. If you’re the person people turn to when things go wrong—and you actually enjoy figuring out why then you’ll fit in here. This is a proper manufacturing environment. Real equipment, real pressure, and a role where what you do actually matters. You won’t be stuck doing the same thing every day—you’ll be across the plant, keeping things running. You’ll be dealing with breakdowns, staying ahead of issues through preventative maintenance, and getting involved when new equipment comes in. It’s a mix of mechanical and electrical work, so you need to be comfortable getting stuck into both. Day to day, you’ll be: Diagnosing faults and getting lines back up quickly Carrying out preventative maintenance properly—not just ticking boxes Working across motors, controls, hydraulics, and pneumatics Handling basic PLC fault finding Supporting operators and improving how the plant runs They’re not looking for someone to babysit. They need someone who can think, troubleshoot, and take ownership when something goes down. Manufacturing experience is key - you’ll know what that environment is like. If you’ve been around food or beverage sites, even better. Same goes for any experience with ammonia systems or fabrication—but it’s not a dealbreaker. The reality? It’s busy. Things break.
