Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry Cardiac Stepdown 85 North Grand Ave, Fort Thomas, Kentucky Job Type Regular Scheduled Hours 36 hours per week (Night Shift 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.) Job Summary St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for our TCU 3SW Unit located within the Ft. Thomas Hospital, a 23‑bed cardiac telemetry step‑down unit. Job Description The licensed registered nurse provides evidence‑based clinical care to designated patients using the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation—within established ethical and cultural standards. The RN works collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient outcomes and delegates tasks appropriately to other licensed and unlicensed team members. The RN demonstrates respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy toward all patients, families, visitors, and colleagues. Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for cardiac telemetry step‑down patients. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel as appropriate. Demonstrate empathy, respect, dignity, and kindness in all patient interactions. Adhere to ethical, cultural, and nursing practice standards. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Licensed to practice nursing in Kentucky; Compact (multi‑state) license acceptable. Meet contact hour requirements for licensure, including all state‑required courses. Demonstrated knowledge of nursing theory, clinical practice standards, procedures, policies, and competence in medication calculations. Competent to independently perform safe nursing skills and procedures. Successful completion of preceptorship and orientation to the facility and clinical area.
