ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Point of contact for phone calls and emails to the Division of Banking.
• Process all incoming and outgoing mail.
• Process and make travel arrangements and process travel expense vouchers for all Division employees.
• Record and process all fees paid to the Division using internal coding.
• Act as Executive Secretary for the State Banking board which includes scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements, taking meeting minutes when necessary, and providing information to Board members.
• Assist licensing staff in preparing new license documents.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE:

• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and work independently.
• Knowledge of State travel and expense voucher forms and processes.
• Must have a technological knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Google Suite products, and the ability to learn internal technology systems.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Associate's Degree (typically in Business) Experience: 0-2 years of progressive work experience (typically in Business Office Communications) with acquired knowledge at the level of an Office Support Specialist I OR Education & Experience Substitution: 2-4 years of progressive work experience (typically in Business Office Communications) with acquired knowledge at the level of an Office Support Specialist I Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: None

Necessary Special Requirements

PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work; however, there may be some walking, standing, bending, carrying light items, driving an automobile, etc.
• May travel occasionally to attend training and conferences.
• This position requires the completion of a criminal background check.
