For more information, visit Full Time Medical Assistant As a Full Time Medical Assistant, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Mooresville, NC. This is a dual‑role position supporting both clinical Medical Assistant responsibilities and front‑desk operations in an outpatient setting. The role works closely with providers to ensure smooth patient flow and excellent patient care. Schedule Monday – Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM What You’ll Do Interview patients and measure vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height) Maintain patient health records to ensure accurate and up‑to‑date records Prepare treatment rooms, clean and sterilize instruments Administer medication including injections, perform laboratory tests, operate EKGs and other diagnostic equipment as permitted by state regulations Perform administrative tasks, assist at the front desk, schedule appointments, make follow‑up calls, and order medical supplies Perform other duties as assigned What You’ll Bring National certification in Medical Assisting from a Premise Health approved organization OR certificate/diploma and transcripts from an accredited Medical Assistant program with hands‑on externship completed and passed – total online courses are not accepted Current certification with hands‑on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred Benefits Premise offers full‑time team members benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) program with company match, paid holidays and vacation time, a company‑sponsored wellness program, EAP, access to virtual primary care and virtual behavioral health at no cost for team members and their dependents.
