Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

We are seeking a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse for our Adolescent Female Unit. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with adolescents experiencing behavioral health challenges and a strong background in psychiatric nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adolescents with psychiatric conditions.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Facilitate therapeutic group activities and individual sessions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including mental health professionals and therapists.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation using the Sunrise charting system.
• Participate in crisis stabilization and medication management protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a valid and unencumbered RN license in the state of Maryland.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, with preference for those with charge experience.
• Current BCLS certification required.
• Experience with Allscripts (Sunrise) EMR is preferred.
• Candidates must pass a drug screening and have no history of failed screenings.
