Chest Imaging Radiologists

Position Summary Chest Imaging Radiologists for the Department of Radiology at the University of Chicago. The Department is expanding and seeking full-time faculty at any rank to join our Cardiothoracic Radiology Section. The position requires expertise in adult cardiothoracic imaging and offers the opportunity to contribute to a world‑class academic medical center that values professional excellence and work‑life balance. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive adult cardiothoracic imaging, including interpretation of chest CT, cardiac MRI, and other advanced modalities. Teach and supervise medical students, residents, and fellows in cardiothoracic radiology. Engage in scholarly activity, including research, publication, and presentation at interdisciplinary conferences. Collaborate with community partners and participate in research programs focused on artificial intelligence, quantitative imaging, and imaging informatics. Participate in the Department’s Level 1 trauma mission and national referral activities for complex cardiothoracic conditions. Qualifications Medical doctorate (MD/DO) or equivalent degree. Valid licensure in the State of Illinois and the State of Indiana (or eligibility for licensure). Board certification or eligibility in Radiology. Completion of a Fellowship in Cardiothoracic Imaging or an equivalent training program. Benefits and Compensation Competitive base salary with incentives: Assistant Professor ($379,467 – 496,118 /yr), Associate Professor ($407,134 – 529,582 /yr), Professor ($435,595 – 579,016 /yr).
