On Cue Hire is seeking an experienced Manager, Stormwater Operations to lead field operations and maintenance for a large public stormwater system in Sarasota County, Florida.

This role oversees 35-40 employees , an approximately $18M annual operating budget , stormwater infrastructure maintenance, emergency response, equipment and resources, regulatory compliance, and operational planning.

What You'll Do

Lead daily stormwater operations, maintenance and emergency response.
Manage supervisors, field crews, staffing, scheduling, training and performance.
Oversee an approximately $18M operating budget, equipment, vendors and contracts.
Develop preventative and long-term maintenance plans for stormwater infrastructure.
Partner with engineering on water quality initiatives, infrastructure improvements and capital projects.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements, including NPDES MS4, FEMA CRS and FDEP regulations.
Drive operational efficiency, safety and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering or a related field with 6+ years of related experience , OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
4+ years of supervisory/management experience.
Background in stormwater, public works, utilities, infrastructure maintenance or similar field operations.
Experience managing crews, budgets, equipment and operational programs.
Florida driver's license required at time of hire.

Compensation & Schedule

Salary: $95,000-$112,000 annually, based on experience
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, with on-call responsibilities
Relocation: Up to $3,000 for candidates relocating 50+ miles
