Position Summary:
As a part of the Licensing Team, the Licensing Coordinator will work with and support team members to execute the regulatory strategies necessary to obtain the licenses required for retail sales across all applicable US operating jurisdictions.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the preparation, filing and maintenance of regulatory submissions, including retail license applications and renewals
- Maintain various internal systems and databases
- Must provide general administrative support (copying, mailing, filing, organization, etc.) to the Licensing & Compliance Team
- Collaborate with other departments as needed
- Analyze regulatory requirements and determine appropriate licensing and permitting actions to support business operations
- Perform other regulatory and compliance duties when requested
- Able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
Working Relationships:
Federal, state and local agencies including Boards of Health, Revenue Departments, Liquor Agencies, Licensing Boards, Fire Departments, Regional Managers, District Managers, Store Managers, Construction Project Managers, Tax Dept, Accounts Payable, Real Estate, Sales Marketing and others.
Requirements:
Minimum Education: High School Diploma
Preferred Education: Associates or Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Minimum Experience: 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience in a general business office or retail environment
Preferred Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in a general business or retail business environment
Soft Skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced multi-task environment and under time constraints and deadlines
- Team Player with a positive "can do" attitude and flexible mindset
Travel: No Travel Required
Hours & Conditions: Monday – Friday 8 hour day in office setting, with potential of 1 day work from home option
Physical Requirements: Ability to maneuver and regularly lift and or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
