This role supports Sales, Product, Marketing, and Operations by gathering and analyzing information that helps the team identify opportunities, prioritize efforts, forecast the business, and measure results. You’ll work with customer, sales, market, project, and operational data to help answer important business questions and provide leaders and commercial owners with accurate, useful information for decision-making. The ideal candidate is analytical, curious, organized, and eager to learn. This role is well suited for someone early in their career who is comfortable working with data, enjoys research and problem-solving, and wants broad exposure to how a growing business operates. Essential Functions Research strategic customers, including company profiles, locations, growth activity, known projects, and competitive information Use tools such as ZoomInfo to research target companies, contacts, and stakeholders Use available resources to identify current and upcoming construction projects Research architecture and design firms, including company profiles, relevant markets, contacts, and current projects Identify applicable projects associated with priority customers and trained design firms Support Size of Prize analysis to help prioritize strategic accounts, design firms, projects, and opportunities 2. Maintain Aggregated Business Forecast & Performance Reporting Consolidate forecast inputs from commercial owners across routes into an aggregated business forecast Maintain and update the business forecast as opportunity timing, likelihood, and customer expectations change Track actual performance against forecast and report meaningful changes Provide recurring performance reporting to commercial owners and leadership Provide aggregated forecast information to Operations/Purchasing to support planning Consolidate opportunity and project information across commercial routes Maintain visibility into opportunity stage, value, expected timing, source, and owner Develop pipeline views that show what opportunities are in play and how they are progressing Track pipeline movement and meaningful trends over time Analyze historical sales and installed‑base information to identify potential replacement opportunities Identify potential expansion opportunities within existing customers Provide replacement and expansion opportunity data to the appropriate commercial owners Support prioritization of opportunities based on available sales, customer, and market information 5. Collect & Analyze Customer Insights Collect and report results from strategic customer pilots Organize customer feedback associated with pilots and other customer initiatives Analyze customer surveys and feedback to identify recurring themes and trends Share findings with the appropriate commercial, Product, Marketing, and business leaders Support quarterly updates to dealer and rep pricing programs Gather and analyze the information needed to support pricing reviews Work with business leadership to maintain accurate pricing analysis and supporting information 7. Inform Operations Planning Provide aggregated business forecast to Purchasing and Production to support forward planning Translate expected order timing and demand into useful planning visibility Partner with Operations to maintain visibility into production status and expected timing of active customer projects Track changes in expected demand or production timing that may affect business plans Provide relevant planning information to internal stakeholders Strong analytical and problem‑solving aptitude Curious and willing to ask questions to better understand the business Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Organized and able to manage multiple priorities and information sources Able to identify patterns and meaningful changes in data Strong follow‑through and personal accountability Able to communicate findings clearly and concisely Demonstrates initiative and willingness to learn Comfortable working in an evolving business environment Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel Ability to organize, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative information Ability to conduct structured company, customer, market, and project research Experience with or ability to quickly learn CRM, market‑intelligence, construction‑project, and internal business systems Ability to create clear reports, trackers, and summaries for business users Strong written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to learn and adopt new tools, systems, and workflows Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, analytics, marketing, supply chain, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience Strong analytical and problem‑solving aptitude Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and comfort working with data Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work cross‑functionally and manage multiple priorities Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn Preferred Education and Experience 1–3 years of relevant experience in business analysis, operations, finance, sales analytics, market research, or a related field Experience working with CRM, reporting, or business intelligence systems Experience analyzing sales, customer, market, or operational data Familiarity with forecasting, market research, or construction/project intelligence Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibility. This job operates mainly in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Physical Demands This is largely a sedentary role; however, some lifting, bending, stooping, and standing is necessary. Mental alertness and long periods of concentration. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Some domestic travel may be required.
