Position Overview

We are on the lookout for an empathetic and skilled Sonography/Ultrasound Technologist to join a talented imaging team dedicated to providing top-notch care. Utilizing advanced ultrasound technology, you will conduct vital diagnostic examinations, collaborate with exceptional healthcare professionals, and bring peace of mind to patients through exceptional imaging techniques.

Main Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of ultrasound exams, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts evaluations
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout each procedure, articulating every step with care and understanding
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the delivery of superior diagnostic images
• Handle and maintain imaging equipment vigilantly, ensuring any malfunctions are reported immediately
• Accurately document all procedures and maintain detailed patient records within our electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of the latest ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices to enhance service delivery

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited sonography program preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is a plus
