Lead Caregiver – Full‑Time (40 Hours/Week)

Our Lead Caregivers are the frontline professionals who ensure new clients feel supported from day one. This role is ideal for an experienced care professional who is confident, organized, and passionate about setting the standard for exceptional home care.

What You’ll Do as a Lead Caregiver

As a Lead Caregiver, you will be responsible for welcoming new clients into care, establishing routines, and ensuring a smooth transition to our broader caregiver team. You will also support existing clients through introductions, training, and fill‑in coverage when needed.

Your responsibilities include:

• Conducting Start‑of‑Care visits and settling new clients into services
• Providing initial care , building rapport, and establishing care routines
• Completing client introductions and training incoming caregivers on care plans
• Offering fill‑in support for urgent or last‑minute shifts
• Communicating observations to office staff to ensure continuity and quality
• Supporting clients with personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping, errands, and companionship
• Serving as a professional role model for our caregiver team

This is a full‑time, 40‑hour/week position , available on either:

• Tuesday through Saturday , or
• Sunday through Thursday

Service Areas

You will work in clients’ homes across San Luis Obispo County, including: San Luis Obispo, Paso Robles, Grover Beach, Morro Bay, Los Osos, Atascadero, Cayucos, Cambria, Arroyo Grande, Oceano, Nipomo, Templeton.

Work Cadence

• Full‑time, 40 hours per week
• Assigned schedule: Tue–Sat or Sun–Thu
• Occasional evening or overnight support as needed

Do I Qualify?

We’re looking for a confident, compassionate professional who leads by example.

You must:

• Have at least 3 years of full‑time caregiving experience
• Have held your Home Care Aide (HCA) registration for at least 3 years
• Be confident, kind‑hearted, and committed to making a difference
• Pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and TB testing
• Have reliable transportation (car, driver’s license, insurance)
• Be available for a consistent 40‑hour weekly schedule
• Be comfortable supporting both new and existing clients
• Be skilled in personal care, communication, and client rapport building
