Physical Therapist

Company: Cape Regency Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Centerville

Part-time and per diem PT openings! Up to $55 an hour with weekly pay! $2,500 sign-on bonus available. Cape Regency is a 120-bed skilled nursing facility offering short-term rehab and long-term care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient/resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation to a general rehab caseload
• Participate in the clinical team process
• Provide teaching and training to caregiver staff and supervise other therapists, assistants, and students as required
• Screen patients/residents and develop appropriate care plans
• Document activities according to the company's clinical documentation system on a timely basis
• Demonstrate consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy required
• Must possess an active and unencumbered Physical Therapist license in the state, or be in the process or eligible to obtain one
• Newly licensed graduates welcome to apply
• Ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems and to interact effectively with all levels of staff and customers
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to perform documentation needs, manipulations of equipment and direct patient care
