Shipping & Receiving Clerk - SRC Technologies Group

What you will do : As an employee-owner you will report to Warehouse Supervisor. You will be in charge of performing shipping and receiving duties. Responsible for verifying and keeping accurate records on shipments (incoming and outgoing). Daily you will unpack, examine, and route incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with Group Lead to rectify damages and shortages.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform shipping and receiving duties.
• Attention to detail is key
• Verify and keep accurate records on shipments (incoming and outgoing).
• Unpack, examine, and route incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
• Operate a fork truck to lift/move or hoist receiving materials from the receiving area to storage or work area.
• Stock shelves using FIFO methodology
• Count incoming parts accurately.
• Participate in and support the principles of Open Book Management and recognize the responsibilities of being an owner of the company.
• Required to follow safety standards. Required to wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.
• Work attendance must be exemplary.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Combine like parts into locations.
• Cycle count.
• Participate in the processes of continuous improvement.
• Operator is responsible for all area housekeeping.
• Ability to effectively perform similar positions on the floor at any point in time.
• Promote a positive working environment in order to achieve the organization's goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
