Medical Assistant

Actalent is Hiring Medical Assistants in Fleming IslandResponsibilities:Collect patient demographics and update electronic health records.Triage patients based on their symptoms and medical history.Assist healthcare providers with medical procedures and patient care.Perform front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant information.Ensure a clean and organized work environment to maintain patient safety.Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families.Essential Skills:1+ year of experience in a fast-paced clinic.Medical Assistant diploma or certification, or 1+ years of medical assistant experience.Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) and medical terminology.Strong understanding of healthcare procedures and medical assisting practices.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Work Environment:This position requires working onsite at a primary care clinic, handling 20-30 patients a day.The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $18.00/hr.
