Covenant College Job Posting Adjunct Faculty Position: College Algebra The Mathematics Department at Covenant College invites applications for an adjunct professor to teach Accelerated College Algebra in Fall 2026. Responsibilities Teach an undergraduate course on college algebra in the context of a Christian perspective Plan lessons and assignments, provide effective instruction, grade assignments, respond to student inquiries, and submit final grades Support retention efforts through early identification of students who are struggling, offering students the needed academic support, and providing positive encouragement Qualifications An appreciation and understanding of the mission of Covenant College An M.S. or higher in mathematics (or a related field), or completion of at least 9 hours of graduate mathematics courses from an accredited institution A demonstrated record of experience teaching algebra at the college or high school level Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
