This opportunity lets you safely transport materials, support inventory movement, and help maintain efficient warehouse and distribution operations.Job Duties:Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, in accordance with company or site-specific safety policies and procedures.Load and unload trailers, and transport to designated area.Check product on inbound/outbound to ensure that items and quantities are correct and there is no damage.Use handheld scanners/equipment for warehouse management system compliance.Perform daily maintenance inspections of equipment.Work cooperatively with other warehouse associates.Participate in keeping the facility maintained in a clean, neat, and orderly fashion.Education Requirements:High school diploma or GED preferred.Previous warehouse training or powered industrial truck training is beneficial.Experience Requirements:Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.Ability to load, unload, move, stack, and organize palletized materials.Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and safe equipment operation.Ability to accurately identify inventory, shipping documentation, and storage locations.Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and commitment to workplace safety.Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or shipping and receiving is preferred.Current forklift certification or experience operating multiple classes of powered industrial equipment is beneficial.Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is considered an asset.Individuals who demonstrate safe operating practices, teamwork, reliability, and productivity are well positioned for success as a Forklift Operator.Physical Capabilities:Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift.Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.Ability to safely operate forklifts in busy warehouse and manufacturing environments.Ability to maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and inventory while operating powered industrial vehicles.Benefits:Competitive Weekly PayComprehensive Benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.Life Insurance and Disability Insurance for added peace of mind.Optional 401(k) Plan to help you prepare for the future.Safety-Focused Warehouse Environment with opportunities for advancement and continued equipment training.About Us:At Staffmark, we connect hardworking people with great companies, creating opportunities that make a lasting impact.
