Position Overview The Non-Ordinary Mind Healthcare, Inc. is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselors to join our innovative and supportive team. Work Environment This role is fully remote, allowing counselors to engage with clients from the comfort of their own homes while being part of a collaborative, supportive team environment. Although it is remote, counselors will have the opportunity to connect with colleagues in regular case consultations and peer review sessions that promote continuous learning and enhancement of treatment quality. Key Responsibilities As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include: Conducting comprehensive clinical evaluations and using evidence-based techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to create customized treatment plans for clients. Maintaining accurate and confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring client information is handled with the highest level of care. Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team that consists of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure integrated care for each patient. Participating in monthly case consultations and peer review sessions, sharing insights and strategies to improve treatment outcomes. Educating clients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment options, and available community resources, fostering a supportive environment for both patients and their loved ones. Staying informed of the latest research and treatment modalities in mental health to continuously enhance the quality and effectiveness of care provided. Patient Population / Client Focus The primary focus of this role will be working with a diverse population of clients experiencing a range of mental health conditions. This includes individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues, which means that counselors will need to possess a nuanced understanding of various psychological issues to provide appropriate support. Qualifications To qualify for this position, candidates must possess: A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology. A valid license to practice in Texas as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). The ability to use informed, solution-focused psychotherapy techniques that are individualized to meet the specific needs of each client. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively build relationships with clients and fellow team members. Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills to navigate the complexities of mental health care. Preferred Experience While a Bachelor's degree is the minimum requirement, candidates with a Master's degree or higher in a relevant field will be prioritized. Experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as CBT and DBT is highly preferred. A proven track record of successfully managing a diverse caseload and achieving positive patient outcomes will be advantageous. Compensation and Benefits The offered salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and skills.
