Details Work on a 22-bed Burn and Reconstructive unit that also cares for off-service PCU patients including stroke and cardiac cases Patient ratio of 1:3 to 1:4 Uses standard unit equipment and Meditech EMR Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Every other weekend required with no on-call obligations Floating required to PCU, Tele, and Med Surg zones Typical procedures include dressing changes Requirements Active TX or compact RN license required BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of recent experience in the specialty required NIH Stroke Certification required for Burn Unit (ICU) placement US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration One professional reference required (two required for Florida and Missouri candidates) No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Provide direct patient care on a Burn and Reconstructive unit, including care for off-service stroke and cardiac patients Best fit for independent, self-directed candidates Navy blue scrub attire required Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered American Traveler Job ID P-750465.
