Start the next chapter of your career with Crane Aerospace & Electronics!Job Summary:The Quality Engineer I works under immediate supervision and uses established procedures to control and monitor quality, ensuring products are consistent with industry standards, government regulations, and customer requirementsEssential Functions:Collaborate cross‑functionally with Engineering, Operations, Suppliers, and Customers to ensure products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements while maintaining effective quality control systems.Collect, analyze, and interpret production data to identify trends; conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions, halting production when necessary to prevent nonconforming material escape.Generate detailed reports on nonconformance, quality trends, and corrective actions; support audits from Defense, Aerospace, and Customer organizations to ensure compliance.Lead qualification of product and process changes; review and approve quality documentation including ECOs, MCOs, deviations, and updates to Control Plans, PFMEAs, and Process Flow Diagrams.Provide technical support for failure analysis, reliability testing, and process capability studies, ensuring processes remain stable and capable.​Minimum Qualifications:Experience: 0-2 years of Quality Engineering experienceKnowledge: Understands fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of assigned product or program; Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the fieldSkills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Proficient in the use of Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; Full color acuity; Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently to meet company standards and deadlinesEducation/Certification: BA or BS degree in Electrical Engineering or a related fieldEligibility Requirement: This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information.
