About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Kearney, Nebraska, 68847!
Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 16 weeks Shift: 12 Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - RN's must pass a skills exam during orientation. - Must achieve a minimum score of 90% to pass. - Candidates must adhere to a strict fingernail policy. - Artificial nails are not permitted in patient care areas. Description: The ICU Registered Nurse will provide care to critically ill patients. Common diagnoses include trauma, cardiac conditions, overdose, and sepsis. Nurse-to-patient ratios are typically 1:2-3 for adults. Candidates should be able to titrate various IV drips, including cardiac and insulin drips. Healthcare support technicians are available to assist nursing staff. RNs will engage in monitoring and interpreting telemetry strips. Shifts include 0630 to 1830 and 1830 to 0630, with self-scheduling available for core staff. Holiday and weekend availability is required. Floating to other units may occur based on census needs. RNs must be able to respond to emergency callbacks within 30 minutes. The charting system used is EPIC. Additional time off requests should be minimal and must be disclosed upfront. Cancellation policy allows for a limited number of shift cancellations during assignments. About Cynet Health
