Job Title: Engineering Intern / Co-op (Manufacturing Operations)

Location:Niagara Falls, NY
Duration:3 Months
Pay Rate:$21–$25/hour

Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Engineering Intern/Co-op to support manufacturing operations and process improvement initiatives within a production environment. This hands-on opportunity is ideal for students pursuing an engineering degree who are interested in manufacturing, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

The intern will work closely with Operations, Quality, and Engineering teams to develop and standardize shop-floor documentation, support workflow improvements, and gain practical experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, format, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for manufacturing processes and equipment
• Collaborate with operators, supervisors, and engineering teams to document best practices and process workflows
• Support document control activities, training materials, and process updates
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives through data collection, analysis, and implementation follow-up
• Spend time on the production floor to understand manufacturing operations, safety requirements, and quality standards
• Support project coordination, reporting, and operational improvement activities

Required Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
• Junior-level undergraduate or graduate student in good academic standing
• Available to work full-time daytime hours during Summer 2026
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Self-motivated with a proactive and continuous improvement mindset
• Ability to work safely and effectively in a manufacturing or production environment

Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous industrial or manufacturing experience preferred
• Exposure to process improvement, production operations, or technical documentation is a plus
