MRI Technologist - Per Diem

Role: MRI Technologist responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging to assist in diagnosis, research, or therapeutic procedures. Responsibilities Include Ensuring correct patient identification, obtaining proper clinical history, and preparing patients for imaging procedures. Utilizing appropriate imaging protocols, optimizing technical parameters, and applying safety principles such as ALARA. Preparing and administering medications as prescribed, evaluating image quality, and verifying data storage and transfer. Educating and monitoring students and healthcare providers, assisting with interventional procedures, and selecting pulse sequences based on protocols. Applying safety measures to minimize risks, demonstrating proficiency in routine and complex duties, and participating in quality improvement activities. Qualifications & Skills Certification by ARRT (MR), ARMRIT, or NMTCB with ARRT-MR required. Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Ability to perform independently, adhere to organizational policies, and demonstrate commitment to excellence and safety.
