Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – OR – Registered Nurse (RN) – Full Time Sign-On Bonus: $2,500 (paid after 6 months of hire) Location: Emplify Health by Gundersen, Tweeten Care Center – Spring Grove, MN Full Time Equivalent: 1.0 FTE (40 hours/week) Shift: 8-hour PM shifts Weekend/Holiday Rotation: Every other weekend & every other holiday Pay RNs: $36.33/hour, with additional compensation based on experience + $2,500 Sign-On Bonus LPNs: $25.49/hour, with additional compensation based on experience + $2,500 Sign-On Bonus (Must be a new or returning employee to Emplify Health by Gundersen. Bonus paid after 6 months of hire.) Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our resident-focused care team. This role supports a family-centered environment and ensures safe, compassionate, and individualized care for residents of all ages in our skilled nursing facility. A welcoming, supportive, team-oriented work environment Gundersen’s generous compensation and benefits package Top-rated retirement plan A workplace that invests in your growth and success What You Will Need Licensed RN or LPN in Minnesota RNs: Minimum associate degree in nursing LPNs: Post‑high school education in a specialized field with coursework qualifying you to take LPN boards BLS CPR Certification with hands‑on training No experience required — new grads welcome! Major Responsibilities Work according to the current Minnesota Board of Nursing Scope of Practice for nursing licensure. Administer medications and treatments, monitor health, and oversee the daily care of facility residents. Interact with the interdisciplinary team, residents, and family members regularly to maintain a resident-centered, up-to-date plan of care. Read, interpret, and follow the orders of medical providers in the provision of resident care. Act as the front-line team leader for each shift and provide guidance to direct care staff. Provide emotional and social support to nursing home residents. Ensure resident and staff safety. Be physically able to lift heavy objects, and push, pull, reach, and squat on a regular basis. Complete documentation in an electronic medical record and maintain basic computer competency. Assist with promoting good nutrition and hydration for facility residents. Orient new staff members. Perform other job-related responsibilities as requested by the Director of Nursing. Participate in nursing and unit staff meetings. Participate in quality improvement activities to continuously enhance patient care and unit operations. Maintain flexible and predictable attendance. Commit to working every other weekend and every other holiday when in an FTE position.
