Communications Manager

Support teams or projects accountable for enterprise-wide and line-of-business communications Manage participant communications and educational materials from initiation through delivery Support development and execution of strategic communication plans Leverage financial services and relevant line-of-business knowledge to influence business results Create consistent, engaging, and strategic messaging, including leader messaging, articles, interviews, and written and visual materials Create targeted and enterprise-wide communications across email, announcements, employee messaging, town halls, videos, and blog posts Partner with Media Relations, Global Marketing, Public Policy, Human Resources, Legal, and Local Market teams Drive innovation and new communication methods across existing and new channels Communicate with internal and external audiences, including clients, customers, influencers, partners, regulators, elected officials, Board and Executive leadership, and employees Interface with internal partners and work directly with the client (plan sponsor) Serve as a control partner and support growth strategies through the company's brand, reputation, and business plans Requirements Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience Demonstrated ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment Proven success working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail Ability to operate independently and drive work to completion with minimal guidance Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and commitment to delivering high-quality results Experience within Financial Services and Retirement/Benefits Plans is preferred Experience leveraging Microsoft Copilot or other AI-enabled tools Knowledge of direct mail capabilities and Salesforce Marketing Cloud, content management systems, and other marketing platforms is a plus Critical thinking and negotiation skills Demonstrated initiative and strong problem-solving capabilities Continuous improvement mindset Proven effectiveness in a fast-paced, demanding, client-driven environment Ability to navigate change and ambiguity Must work onsite in accordance with the workplace excellence policy if selected, as applicable to the role Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in strategic communication planning and execution, leveraging financial services knowledge to create engaging messaging across various channels.
