Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience to provide specialized patient care for critically ill pediatric patients. The role involves working within a fast-paced environment, ensuring clinical excellence and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Administer high-quality nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU.
• Monitor patient conditions closely, including vital signs and neurological status.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and maintain detailed documentation.
• Provide family support and education regarding patient care and progress.
• Adhere to hospital policies and contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture.

Qualifications:

• Valid NYS Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent PICU experience.
• Current BLS and PALS certifications.
• Demonstrate strong clinical skills in pediatric critical care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills.
