Automotive Alley, Inc. is looking for a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team in Arcade, NY — and yes, you get Fridays off! Enjoy a 4-day work week (Monday through Thursday) while doing the work you love in a supportive, professional shop environment. If you're passionate about cars and value work-life balance, this is the opportunity you've been waiting for. Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic testing on vehicles to identify mechanical and electrical issues
- Conduct routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections
- Repair and replace brakes, suspension components, engines, and drivetrain parts
- Utilize diagnostic software and tools to troubleshoot complex vehicle systems
- Document all service and repair work accurately in the shop management system
- Communicate findings and recommendations to service advisors and customers
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work bay and shop environment
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Auto Mechanic
- ASE certification(s) preferred or willingness to obtain
- Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and repair tools
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems including engine, transmission, brakes, and electrical
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced shop environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
