Overview As Creative Director, Design at BBH you will work in partnership with the Head of Design to set the vision for the department — helping define how design elevates some of our most important clients and initiatives. You’ll inspire, nurture and guide a team of multidisciplinary designers while collaborating across Creative Teams, Account Management, Strategy, and Production. You’ll transform client needs and cultural opportunities into groundbreaking, award-winning work that strengthens both our clients’ brands and BBH’s reputation. You’ll lead large-scale projects from conception through execution, champion curiosity and experimentation, and foster an environment where creativity thrives. Beyond project work, you’ll play a key role in building the design culture at BBH—helping shape how design integrates with and influences the wider creative department. At BBH, Creative Directors are both leaders and doers: setting the standard, sparking the big idea, and rolling up their sleeves when the moment calls for it. Responsibilities Essentials Lead design across campaigns, branding, design systems, pitches, decks, and internal initiatives Elevate the standard of craft across the team Work across a diverse brand roster simultaneously — CPG, spirits, auto, and more Lead, manage, and grow a team of direct reports Own projects end-to-end, from brief through final delivery Present and sell creative work to internal stakeholders and clients Contribute to new business pitches Qualifications Skills & qualifications 10+ years of experience Proficient in Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite (required) Knowledgeable in Google Slides / PowerPoint Excellent design craft across all work, with great taste and attention to detail Experience building and working within design systems Able to lead and mentor a team while still being hands-on. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. This role may also be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
