Treasury Management-Sales Associate Sr

Position Title: Treasury Management - Sales Associate Sr. Location: New York, NY 10018 A Senior Treasury Management Sales Associate plays a key role in contributing to new sales targets, managing client relationships, and achieving assigned growth objectives in conjunction with an assigned Treasury Management Sales & Payments Advisor. This role includes in-depth training that creates a career path for a future Treasury Management Sales Advisor, applies experience, and independently makes decisions regarding the management of commercial client relationships. Responsibilities Collaborates with the Treasury Management Sales & Payments Advisor to identify client opportunities, recommend solutions, and perform cost and benefit analysis, competitive pricing, and profitability assessment. Prepares relationship review materials, sales collateral, account recommendations, and market research for pre/post call activities. Responds to client inquiries and assists with client recommendations for implementation and onboarding. Develops an understanding of clients' Treasury cash‑management structure and objectives. Coordinates with product partners to develop comprehensive Treasury solution recommendations. Researches competitors’ products and positioning within the client market. Partners with Sales & Product Advisors and Associates throughout the sales cycle to manage pipeline and ensure solutions and pricing are set up timely and accurately. Collaborates with internal partners to ensure successful implementation, product ramp‑up, and accurate pricing and billing. Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and completes all required compliance training. Performs special projects and additional duties as required. Maintains compliance with changing regulations and policies. Travels to client offices, prospects, branches, and various functions as required. Requirements High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) or Foreign Equivalent education level. Minimum 5+ years of related experience. Ability to handle moderate physical exertion such as standing, sitting, walking, driving, or infrequent lifting. Travel to client offices and other locations required. Completion of all required compliance training. Preferred Qualifications College, Vocational, or Associates Degree (2 years or equivalent). Certified Treasury Professional designation (CTP) awarded by the Association for Financial Professionals. Competencies Continued growth of knowledge on treasury management products and services. Understanding of business cash flows, accounting processes, and financial optimization. Understanding of value propositions related to treasury management applications in a corporate treasury environment. Knowledge of business and banking regulations such as UCC, Reg CC, Reg E, and other regulatory guidance. Sales and negotiation aptitude with the ability to communicate tactfully at a senior executive level. Professional verbal and written communication skills. Analytical skills with creative and strategic thinking when devising client solutions. Strong time‑management and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple initiatives. Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Ability to mobilize internal networks and resources to resolve service challenges or develop solutions.
