Body Shop Tech

Overview We’re looking for a skilled Body Shop Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll perform a variety of body repair and refinishing tasks, ensuring vehicles meet quality and safety standards from start to finish. Job Description What you’ll do Perform body work on vehicles including any and all incidental work. Perform the following activities on vehicles as needed: Painting Paint mixing and formulation Polishing Body work Estimations Masking Scanning of vehicles Daily company equipment checks Other Body Shop duties as assigned by the Company Take appropriate precautionary measures to avoid damaging vehicles and/or accessories and report any damage immediately to the supervisor. Troubleshoot installation discrepancies and make the necessary repairs to comply with installation procedures. Utilize mobile scanner to ensure proper items are installed. Use hand tools such as breaker bars and torque wrenches and power tools to remove standard accessories and replace with upgraded accessories for specified vehicles to standard operating procedure to avoid damage or defects. Move vehicles as needed and work safely around moving vehicles. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements What you’ll need Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record. Must be able to operate vehicles with automatic transmissions. (Manual transmission is recommended but not required). Must be certified and meet OEM certification standards (painting, paint mixing, etc.). Position pays $32.25 per hour.
