Salary and Benefits: Per GEA Contract

Qualifications: High School Diploma preferred; may need CPR training

Purpose: To provide for the students' safety and needs by supervising.

Essential Functions and Performance Responsibilities:

Lunchroom Aide:

• Patrol designated areas.
• Maintains a supervised lunch period both inside and outside.
• Student conduct is the direct responsibility of the supervisor.
• Enforces good lunchroom manners.
• Running and misconduct shall not be tolerated.
• Supervises playground.
• Cleaning of lunchroom is not a primary responsibility of the supervisor but at times may be necessary.

Playground Aide:

• Patrol designated areas.
• Supervises playground by enforcing reasonable safety practices.
• Mediate disagreements.
• Escort injured students to school office.
• Enforces playground rules and performs additional duties assigned by the principal.

Attends staff meetings (as appropriate)

Performs other tasks (as appropriate)

Performs other tasks and assumes other responsibilities as assigned by an administrator.
