About the Role
The Company is seeking an Assistant General Counsel to join their legal team. The successful candidate will be a key support for the company's EPC and other business development, commercial and procurement contracting, regulatory compliance, risk management, and day-to-day business operations. This role requires a trusted legal advisor with a strong background in construction, corporate, and renewable energy, who can provide practical, business-oriented legal advice in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. The Assistant General Counsel will be responsible for a wide range of legal matters, including commercial and operational issues, and will be expected to exercise sound judgment, build strong relationships, and proactively manage legal and commercial risk. Applicants for the Assistant General Counsel position at the company should have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school, active bar membership, and 8-12+ years of legal experience, with a focus on renewable energy, construction, infrastructure, or related industries. The role demands a professional with a proven track record in negotiating and drafting complex commercial agreements, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities. The ideal candidate will have a high degree of professional judgment, integrity, and business acumen, and be adept at identifying legal risks and developing practical solutions.
