Description Veterinary Technician Anderson Veterinary Clinic Anderson, CA Full-time Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience with a n hourly pay rate starting at $24-28/ hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location Schedule Full-time (40 hours/week), 5 days/week, with some Saturdays. About You You’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by providing end-to-end care for our precious patients. Your life-changing work will range from the hands-on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests, to support services including admitting and discharging patients. Your Experience & Skills Personable and collaborative, with a strong team-first mindset and high emotional intelligence Compassionate communicator who demonstrates empathy with clients and teammates 1+ year of experience working in a veterinary hospital setting Current California Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license required Working knowledge of veterinary terminology and common clinical procedures Ability to safely handle, lift, and restrain a variety of animal species Proficiency in venipuncture, radiology, IV catheter placement, drug calculations, and medication/fluid administration Strong organizational skills and comfort working with computers and practice software Job Responsibilities Partner with veterinarians to provide excellent medical care, advocate for pets, and educate clients Assist with surgeries, procedures, and treatments in alignment with RVT credentialed duties Support smooth patient flow and enhanc e team efficiency through proactive communication Guide clients through individualized health concerns, treatment plans, medications, and Thrive Membership benefits Maintain accurate, thorough medical records Obtain detailed patient histories and document findings ensur e safety and organization through proper restraint and maintai n a clean, sterile, well-organized workspace Mentorand supportteammates to help build a collaborative, uplifting environmen t You’ll Grow With Us Here, you can grow your career as best fits you through access to comprehensive learning and skillset programs.
