Job Details * Position: Medical Assistant * Location: Jacksonville, FL * Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday * Pay: $21 per hour Requirements * Medical Assistant diploma required * Medical Assistant Certification preferred * Minimum 1 year of recent Medical Assistant experience * Current hands-on BLS certification * Current TB test * Reliable, professional, and able to problem-solve Key Responsibilities * Greet and room patients, obtaining vital signs and medical histories * Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and rehabilitation services * Assist providers with patient assessments, procedures, and follow-up care * Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) * Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals as needed * Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations * Monitor and stock exam rooms, treatment areas, and medical supplies Skills & Qualifications * Strong patient care and customer service skills * Excellent verbal and written communication abilities * Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail * Ability to accurately obtain and document vital signs and patient information * Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality practices Work Environment * Clinic setting Click on the link to reach the FL Care Provider Background Screening website #3127FL
