Electronics Diagnostic Technician

Position Summary

The Electronics Diagnostic Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electronic circuit board assemblies to the component level. This role focuses on diagnosing electronic failures, performing repairs, and supporting production by ensuring quality and improving manufacturing yield.

Essential Duties

• Diagnose and repair electronic circuit board assemblies to the component level.
• Troubleshoot electrical failures using electronic test and measurement equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics, BOMs, and technical documentation.
• Support testing, failure analysis, and continuous process improvements.
• Maintain accurate repair documentation and follow quality, safety, and production procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve product issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in electronics preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic assemblies or PCBs.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Experience using test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
