Assistant General ManagerSound + Fury Brewing is a brewery, bar, restaurant and event space, located in the heart of Downtown Brooklyn. We are currently looking for an Assistant General Manager to join our amazing team and help take us to the new heights we are aiming to achieve.As an AGM, you will work with a team that is driven by excellence. Sound + Fury is determined to the continually improve and are looking for the right person to work with us to get there.Duties:Train, mentor, and oversee team members across guest service, POS systems, food safety, alcohol service, and standard operating procedures.Drive hospitality standards by resolving guest concerns promptly and leveraging feedback to refine service.Manage floor and bar setups, delegating tasks effectively to ensure optimal operational flow.Provide weekly executive updates, resolve cross-departmental service issues, and participate in ongoing leadership development.Lead pre-shift meetings and product education to maintain service quality and drive profitability.Operations & Compliance:Direct daily floor and bar operations to maintain high efficiency and organizational standards.Manage inventory and purchasing for alcohol, ingredients, supplies, and disposables to minimize waste and prevent shortages.Enforce compliance with health, safety, and alcohol regulations, as well as company safety and workplace policies.Product & Menu Development:Maintain quality control standards for all in-house food and beverage offerings.Workplace Environment:Oversee cleaning, organization, and maintenance schedules across all work and storage areas.Requirements:3 - 5 years minimum experience.Excellent communication skills and an organized approach to achieving team goalsA passion for customer service and the leadership skills to help lead a team during serviceAn eye for detailBartending experience preferredExcellent customer service skillsDesire to learn and grow with a high quality teamJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $67,500.00 - $70,000.00 per yearBenefits:Food providedPaid time offEmployee DiscountsExperience level:3 yearsPay rate:Weekly payShift/Week:9-10 hour shift45hr wkDay shiftEvening shiftNight shiftWeekly day range:Wednesday to SundayWeekend availabilityWork setting:BarUpscale casual dining restaurantWork Location:In person
