Registered Nurse (RN) - Full-Time Days

CorrectHealth currently has an exciting Full Time opportunity to join our growing team as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Covington, La. Currently, CorrectHealth provides high quality, cost-effective, comprehensive healthcare services inside the walls of more than 35 correctional facilities throughout Georgia, Louisiana, the Southeast, and beyond. Responsibilities The Registered Professional Nurse (RN) is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Directs and guides patient teaching, clinical care, and ancillary personnel while maintaining standards and ethics of professional nursing in accordance with applicable State Board of Nursing and other accrediting agencies. Provides strong analytical, decision-making skills and has positive communication skills. Qualifications Must graduate from a nationally or state-approved school of nursing program. Holds and maintains a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of employment. Must be American Heart Association BLS certified. Corrections experience is a plus.
