Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Advanced Endoscopy position requiring at least one year of GI/endoscopy experience and a compact or Oklahoma RN license. Assignment Overview Start Date ASAP Length 13 weeks Openings 1 Actual start date is typically 3-4 weeks from time the offer is received. Start dates are determined based on facility needs and credentialing requirements. Details Hospital-based Advanced Endoscopy unit Assists physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures and treatments 10-hour day shifts, 7am-5:30pm, 4 days per week with a set day off Call required 2-3 days per month Requirements Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or current multistate compact RN license (eNLC) Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required 1 year of endoscopy experience required; advanced/interventional endoscopy experience preferred Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required; BSN preferred NIHSS certification required Additional Information Provides nursing care to an assigned group of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and treatments, noting changes in physician orders Obtains and monitors physiological data and intervenes as necessary Administers medications and initiates, regulates, and monitors IV infusions and blood products Communicates care plans with patients and families, including at discharge, and delegates tasks to support staff as needed Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible Returning workers may only extend one time for a total of 26 weeks unless otherwise agreed, followed by a required 6-month separation before reapplying Facility maintains strict compliance deadlines for onboarding requirements including background checks and drug screens These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
