This role will establish foundational HR processes, bring previously outsourced or decentralized responsibilities internally, ensure compliance, and partner closely with leadership to support our rapidly growing aerospace organization.The ideal candidate thrives in high-growth environments, is comfortable building from the ground up, and can balance strategic thinking with day-to-day execution.Skills, Experience, Qualifications, If you have the right match for this opportunity, then make sure to apply today.Key ResponsibilitiesHR Infrastructure & InternalizationTransition key HR functions to a fully internal model, including benefits, payroll coordination, and employee lifecycle processesEvaluate and implement HR systems (HRIS, onboarding tools, performance platforms)Develop employee handbook, policies, and proceduresEstablish scalable onboarding and offboarding processesCompliance & Risk ManagementEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment lawsManage regulatory requirements relevant to aerospace (e.g., ITAR, export controls, contractor compliance)Maintain accurate employee records and audit readinessPartner with legal and finance on risk mitigationTalent & Workforce PlanningPartner with leadership on hiring plans and workforce strategySupport and optimize recruiting processes (initially hands-on if needed)Develop job descriptions, leveling frameworks, and compensation benchmarksEmployee Experience & CultureBuild employee engagement programs and feedback mechanismsServe as a trusted advisor to managers and employeesManage employee relations matters with professionalism and discretionHelp shape and reinforce company culture during a period of rapid growthPerformance Management & DevelopmentDesign and implement performance review processesSupport leadership development and manager effectivenessCreate career growth and development frameworksBenefits & CompensationEvaluate and implement competitive benefits programs by working directly with brokers/providersSupport compensation planning, including salary structures and equity programsEnsure smooth administration of payroll and total rewardsQualificationsRequired5–10+ years of HR experienceExperience in high-growth or scaling organizationsStrong knowledge of HR compliance and employment lawDemonstrated success establishing or formalizing HR processesAbility to xhyhwjd operate both strategically and tacticallyPreferredExperience bringing HR functions in-house or insourcing operationsBackground in aerospace, manufacturing, defense, or engineering environmentsFamiliarity with ITAR or government contractor complianceHR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP)Experience implementing HRIS systemsKey CompetenciesStrong business acumen and problem-solving skillsHigh level of discretion and integrityComfortable with ambiguity and changeExcellent communication and stakeholder managementExecution-oriented with strong attention to detailReporting StructureReports to: CEO, COO, or CFOFuture team growth may include Recruiter, HR Generalist, and HR Business Partner rolesCompensation: $135-160k based on experience
