Process Equipment Engineer

Title:Process Equipment EngineerKBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) provides holistic and value-added solutions across the entire asset life cycle. These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets.  KRB is seeking an experienced Process Equipment Engineer to provide technical oversight of process equipment, piping systems, containment systems, and mechanical integration activities within the Bioconjugate facility. This role helps ensure facility systems support process performance, maintainability, cleanability, operator safety, containment requirements, and future qualification activities while coordinating closely with process and construction teams.Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Ensure equipment selections support operational, maintenance, and manufacturing requirements, containment requirements, regulatory expectations, and qualification and startup readiness.Serve as the primary engineering advisor for Process equipment, piping, and containment systems.Oversee design and engineering team responsible for meeting the project requirements in this area, including but not limited to day-to-day oversight and participation in design reviews.Required Education, Experience & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.Minimum 10 years of experience with Process Equipment design and engineering.Strong knowledge of engineering, design, constructability, operability, and maintainability best practices and code requirements for process equipment.Experience successfully coordinating multidisciplinary engineering and design activities for capital projects in excess of $500M TIC.Preferred Education, Experience & Skills: Experience supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or GMP-regulated facilities.Prior experience in an Owner’s Representative or PMC role for major capital projects in excess of $1B TIC.Experience supporting commissioning, startup and operational readiness activities.Professional Engineer (PE) license.Decarbonization – Energy Transition – Sustainability  KBR Benefits​ KBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include 401K plan with company match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, disability, paid time off, or flexible work schedule.
