Purchasing manager

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team. Position Overview As the Purchasing Manager, you will play a critical role in the success of our business by overseeing the procurement process for all of our locations. You will be responsible for managing the purchasing team, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring that our stores are stocked with the best products at the best prices. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet the company's objectives Manage the purchasing team and provide guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective operations Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms for products Monitor inventory levels and ensure that all stores are adequately stocked Analyze market trends and make recommendations for product selection and pricing Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and finance, to ensure alignment and support for purchasing initiatives Keep up-to-date with industry developments and implement best practices to improve purchasing processes Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities, including cost savings and supplier performance Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in the retail or convenience store industry Strong negotiation and communication skills Proven leadership experience and ability to manage a team Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Knowledge of supply chain management and inventory control principles Proficient in Microsoft Office and purchasing software Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment We Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for growth and advancement within the company A supportive and collaborative work environment Employee discounts at our stores Paid time off and holidays If you are a results-driven and strategic thinker with a passion for purchasing and a strong track record of success, we would love to hear from you.
