Facilities Maintenance Technician

Venue Nation is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician at Mystic Lake Amphitheater to support our outdoor venue on a seasonal, as-needed basis during the summer months. This role is ideal for a skilled tradesperson or facilities professional looking to pick up flexible, part-time, work without a fixed weekly schedule. The technician will handle small to mid-scale repair and improvement projects that are currently outsourced to contractors. Work will be assigned on a project or call-in basis, depending on venue needs. This role is a Part-Time Seasonal position.

The responsibilities include keeping the venue safe and clean at all times, performing emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment, showing care by participating in the venue's sustainability program, partnering with fellow band members to close the venue, performing simple machinist duties and mechanic skills, reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders, performing regular preventive maintenance, and performing a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.

The candidate should have a high school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience. They should have 13 years of facilities, maintenance, or building operations experience, working knowledge of OSHA regulations and general safety compliance standards, experience performing plumbing, electrical, and general construction/repair work, trade certification or state/local licensing, experience in live event, entertainment, or high-traffic venue environments, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

The expected compensation for this position is $24.00 USD - $30.00 USD Hourly. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
