The Direct Support Professional provides direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities to foster independence and ensure their health and safety. Responsibilities include supervising individuals, assisting with personal care, and performing household tasks like meal preparation. Training for this position is provided in its entirety so no experience is required. Valid driver’s license and car insurance. Motor Vehicle Record Must meet ViaQuest’s Authorized Driver Criteria Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch.
