Family Engagement Specialist – Easterseals Vermont Are you interested in doing meaningful, mission-driven work with families? Responsibilities Facilitate family meetings and provide in‑home support to strengthen families in their homes. Coach parents to create safe and nurturing environments for children placed in DCF custody and support them in meeting their children’s immediate needs. Contact extended family members to explore familial support and create genograms. Collaborate closely with the Department of Children and Families – Family Services Division while maintaining a distinct, comfortable office environment. Address complex issues such as past trauma, substance use disorders, domestic violence, mental health concerns and generational poverty. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or a related field preferred. Two years of human services experience preferred. Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills. Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a background check. Own reliable vehicle with insurance that meets coverage limits. Hours Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Flexibility is supported to accommodate parents’ individual schedules. Compensation Starting salary: $20.00 hourly. Additional compensation is based upon experience and degree level:

• 20.50 for an Associate’s degree
• 21.00 for a Bachelor’s degree
• 22.50 for a Master’s degree
