Food Service Role
Prepares, cooks and presents food to order following company guidelines. Completes assigned prep work and keep work area clean.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service environment.
- Certification in food handling or culinary training.
- Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment and tools.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively during peak hours.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including equipment and workstations.
- Assist in receiving, storing, and rotating inventory to ensure freshness and reduce waste.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to comply with health regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to coordinate food preparation and service during busy periods.
Skills:
The required skills such as food safety knowledge and the ability to follow detailed instructions are critical for maintaining a hygienic and efficient kitchen environment. Physical stamina and manual dexterity enable the candidate to handle kitchen tasks such as chopping, cooking, and cleaning throughout their shift.
