Purchasing Specialist

Purchasing Specialist (Bilingual Korean required)\n\nTimpl has partnered with a global electrolyte for EV battery manufacture and is\nseeking for a Purchasing Specialist.\n\nMAJOR FUNCTION:\n * Track the progress of the purchase order from creation to delivery\n * Check PR/PO/GR in SAP (monthly AP closing included)\n * Determine of PO based on sales forecasts and the stock levels\n * Manage goods receipts, article creation and modification, system flow\n management, and other transactions in SAP\n * Follow the payments and divert financial issues to the Finance Team\n * Be the key contact for coordination of actions for inventory management\n * Perform stock and risk management with the concerned services (quality,\n export service, packaging, marketing)\n * Negotiate with overseas plants and markets and propose logistics solutions\n * Report on annual expenditures and savings in line with business plans\n * Work closely with internal stakeholders regarding purchasing tasks\n * Negotiate with external accounts for competitive unit price and contract\n terms\n * Supervise suppliers' performance in lead time, reactivity, reliability, and\n flexibility\n * Participate in the plant's production plans and capacity optimization\n * Participate in the domestic and overseas transport optimization to reduce\n costs\n * Manage purchasing tasks by type of suppliers\n * Ensure close relationships with suppliers in respective domains, such as\n machine parts management, lead time, expedition, and reception\n * Provide intensive management of a supplier when issues arise\n * Act as key contact for respective suppliers\n * Build a strong collaboration network with other supply chain service\n providers to obtain information and synchronize processes\n\nRequirements\n\n * Bachelor's degree in SCM, Business Management, or related field\n * 0-5+ years of purchasing or procurement experience\n * Experience in a high-tech manufacturing industry or startups preferred\n * Proficiency in MS Office applications and SAP\n * Ability to travel by car and travel overseas\n * Ability to tolerate a fast-paced work environment in areas that are not\n climate controlled\n * Bilingual in Korean and English
