Quality Test Technician - 1st Shift 5:45 AM - 4:30 PM $24.73/HR

As a Quality Test Technician, you play a critical role in that missionserving as a final quality checkpoint to ensure medical testing equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for use by customers around the world.

What You'll Do

• Test, inspect, and verify medical testing equipment prior to shipment to ensure proper operation
• Perform electrical testing, calibration, and inspections using meters, wiring tools, and electronic test instruments
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues to meet quality and safety standards
• Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, torque wrenches, drills, and other assembly tools to complete repairs and adjustments
• Interpret schematics, diagrams, and written work instructions to support testing and troubleshooting
• Accurately document all work using Good Documentation Practices (GDP), including updating Device History Records (DHR)
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and established quality assurance and quality control procedures
• Perform visual and functional inspections to confirm products meet performance specifications
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to share feedback and improve processes
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in a regulated, climate-controlled manufacturing environment
• Use basic computer applications such as Excel and Word to enter data, complete forms, and access instructions
• Work on your feet for most of the shift, including standing, bending, reaching, and walking as required

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree or technical degree (AA or equivalent)
• 12 years of electrical testing and troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to follow GDP-documented procedures and maintain accurate records

Schedule & Shift Details

• Monday Thursday: 5:45 AM 4:15 PM
• Mandatory Overtime: Up to 10 hours on Fridays
• Breaks:
  • Two paid 15-minute breaks
  • One unpaid 30-minute lunch

Work Environment

• Regulated manufacturing environment with defined quality and safety standards
• Approximately 80% standing, 10% walking, and 10% sitting
• Frequent bending and reaching throughout the shift
• Use of PPE such as smocks, safety glasses, ESD wristbands, and impact-resistant footwear
• Hands-on work with medical testing equipment, hand tools, and electronic test instruments

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chaska, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.73 - $24.73/hr.
