Hereswhatyouddo:

The Equipment Operatoris responsible foroperatingheavy equipment in a safe andappropriate manner. Heavy equipment may include trucks, front end loaders,track hoes,dozers, trenchers,loadersand other pieces of equipment. Equipment Operator must also clean,maintainand secure all equipment as directed by policies and procedures.Majorityof your work would be installing electrical and gas lines for local utility companies.

Youdbe responsible for:

• Operating heavy equipment in a safe and effectivemanner in orderto minimize the risk of injury, propertydamageor loss of life.

• Performing daily safety and maintenancecheck.

• Cleaning heavy equipment as scheduled and/orrequired

• Ensuring heavy equipment is safely and securely stored

• AdvisingForemanor supervisors ofany requirements for maintenance or repairs

• Participating in routine maintenance

• Practicing workplace safety

• Maintainingjob siteinventory

• Filling out proper paperwork

• Minimum of2years experience in equipmentoperatingand maintenance

• Validdriverslicense with a CDL Class A

• Ability to pass pre-employment drug testing and randoms

• Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate

• Follow all Company policies and procedures

Physical demands:

• Work in/or about situations near direct automotive traffic

• Work 8+ hours per day with applicable breaks x 5 days/week (Overtime/weekend workwill berequired)

• Ability to work in extreme conditions Temps below freezing and above 100 Degrees F

• Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time

• Ability to lift and carry75lbs.

• Ability to bend, stoop and twist continuously throughout the day
